Friends of First Landing State Park and Natural Area Inc. is formed exclusively for supportive, educational and other charitable
non-profitable purposes by Section 501c (3)
of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
More specifically, the mission of the Friends of First Landing is to act as a non-Profit Citizens Support Organization to assist in conserving the natural, cultural, scenic, and recreational resources of First Landing State Park; to assist in providing a variety of recreational and educational opportunities; and to assist in promoting environmental stewardship of Virginia’s most visited state park.

Annual membership is only $20/per person, $25/family, $15/seniors & students.
We are looking for new members who love the park and
want to make a difference outdoors.
(Out-of-state and international memberships are welcome!)
We especially need people to help with fundraising, assisting with clerical work, volunteering in the park, taking photos, and all the other work that comes with running an organization worthy of Virginia's most-visited state park.
